Pentax Q

Unleash your creative potential with the Pentax Q, the world’s smallest and lightest

compact system camera

Announced earlier this year, the new Pentax Q is the world’s smallest and lightest compact system camera. Allowing photographers the creative freedom of interchangeable lenses, the Pentax Q boasts all the power of a DSLR in a compact system body.

As well as its diminutive size, the Pentax Q boasts a number of other features that will make it appeal to creative photographers. Utilizing its 12.4-megapixel sensor, the Q offers users a wealth of manual and arty shooting modes to ensure they always get the photo. The HDR mode uses a combination of several exposures to achieve maximum detail in both highlight and shadow areas, while effects like Cross Processing, Tone Expansion, Bold Monochrome and Vibrant Color Enhance can all be accessed via the Quick Dial, located on the front panel.

Photographers who want to delve into the world of movie-making will be impressed by the full 1080p HD video quality achieved by this compact system camera, especially as the Q also has an in-body shake reduction system that allows for smoother shots, no matter what lens is attached.

The Pentax Q offers photographers not just a camera, but a system, with a host of lenses and accessories to collect to make sure their photography develops as their skills do.
